How to put a web site/web page on the Internet
(world wide web)

There are two primary ways to have a web site on the Internet:

1st: For individuals, families, groups, or organization that don't want a full blown web site of their own.

Your URL (Uniform Resource Locator, or Web address) will be www.1stgmc.net/yourname. or www.oneofoursites.com/your-organization-name. Your fee of $100.00 per year includes 500 megabytes of transfer. This means that, if your Web page contains 100K of data, you can receive 5000 visits per month. Transfers in excess of 500 megs are available at $30 per Gigabyte.

2nd: You can have a FULL BLOWN web site entirely your own.

Your URL/web-site name will be www.yourname.com, www.anyname.org, www.choose-a-name.info, .tv, .us, .cc, etc., etc.

This is what is mean by a virtual server, because your site is on our server, not your own.
